Hello Everyone,
It was a whirlwind as usual, but our Father's Day Fly-in breakfast in mid June was a great success.
The weather gods were cooperative and although it was a warm day, we had a beautiful morning to welcome over 50 fliers from all over southern Ontario to our historic airport.
Thanks to the many volunteers who chipped in to make things run smoothly.
A pilot from Stirling was first to arrive in his Russian-built trike. This earned him a free breakfast, however he made a donation anyway and we thank him for his contribution!
Our always popular 50/50 was again a big hit - giving a pilot from Oshawa a cash prize, and money back to our Club. Sounds like a win-win for everyone.
Our Canada Day pot luck dinner - another event we look forward to - allowed us to open our hangar doors to both members and guests alike for an evening of camaraderie and food.
