We're now at the end of what has been a beautiful and busy summer and fall. We enjoyed many Club-related activities, and must thank the "weather gods" because even with a few scheduling changes, our events benefited from some gorgeous summer and fall weather.
A couple of the highlights for me would have to be the Father's Day minus 1 Fly-in and the Sargeants Mess dinner this fall. The turnout for both was exceptional and even with some challenges, I would venture to say that we all enjoyed ourselves immensely.
The winter months are now upon us and I don't mind a bit! Sorry...had to rub that one in a little. What I really mean to say is that l'd like everyone to think over the next few months, about the idea of having a speaker at our Thursday evening meetings next year. Ideally, aviation-related of course but we can be pretty flexible when it comes to topic. It doesn't need to be overly long and drawn out, just interesting and informative. It never ceases to amaze me what our Club members have done and witnessed so I really don't think we have to go far afield to find interesting people who would be willing to share their love of aviation, and tell us about their experiences.
